Let the Wars Begin

No matter how hard each country tries to work towards peace, war is just simply inevitable because in every nation, no matter how small it may be, there will always be that irrepressible desire to dominate and rule due to human nature. That's why behind every treaty and agreement there's always a very well hidden interior motive that's blind to us all unless we truly search for it.
Francine knew that quite well yet in this situation she was left with no choice what so ever. She was now slowly being repelled down a wall into a special German military base because according to her case files the woman in charge who was known simply as Angelica was rumored to have blue prints for a higher grade bomb. This wouldn't be good for the nation of France in any way shape or form unless she was able to get them for herself. The plan she had in her mind was a simple one enough she knew would be hard to screw up. It consisted of her landing softly on her feet, studying the blue prints from afar, grabbing them when she had the chance and making her hasty escape without getting caught.
So far things seemed to be going exactly as planned...until she opened the wrong door and was now face to face with the enemy. Instead of grabbing her glock and attacking the other woman as she simply looked away from the notes on her desk and got up, Francine just stood there frozen like a statue made of stone.  The long blonde haired woman took this as an opportunity and as she stepped up to the stunned French woman, she pulled out a long jagged knife from her belt.
"And just who might you be?" She placed the cold pointed part of the knife against her neck and lightly pressed causing there to now be a mark and a slight trickle of blood to flow. The brunette knew now that she was screwed no matter what she did. Her life was now in the enemies hands.
"F-Francine...” Her fear filled light brown eyes just stayed locked with the other's blue grey ones and her mind just raced with over one hundred useless questions per hour. All she wanted now at the moment was to be back home watching a romantic comedy or even playing with her cat. The brunette was just so terrified that even her white flag wouldn’t give her any comfort.
"Ah I've been waiting for you~" A deviously charming smirk spread across the woman’s face as she spoke and moved the knife away causing Francine to let out a sigh and instantly relax all her tense muscles. “The name is Angelica and I have one very special offer for you Francine.”
Of course she knew it wouldn’t be something good yet she still asked fearing that her life would be taken from her if she didn’t. “W-What is it?” Even though she tried to hide it all the fear she had felt showed through as clear as day in her voice.
“I think that together you and I can win this. We have more brains and brawns together than everyone else in this blasted war. All you need is a little toughening up.”  As Angelica now spoke there was something different to her tone of voice and everything just seemed to put Francine off. She didn’t want to get involved with anyone else and believed that wars would only do more harm than good. “If not willingly I can always make you join me by force.”

((A/N: I know it's short but trust me, it's just the beginning, the chapters will get longer as we go along. I just wanted to at least post something I’m working on so it doesn’t seem like I’m slacking off during my laptop time xD
